As we continue our mission to make people and nature happy through chocolate, we’re looking for a Supply Planning Administrator to join our Material Control Team on a 6-month fixed term contract basis.

    The role

    As Supply Planning Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting our supply planning function by taking ownership of essential administrative tasks, from reviewing material requirements and placing orders, to maintaining supplier forecasts, tracking deliveries, identifying stock risks and managing invoices with precision and efficiency.

    Here at Hotel Chocolat, we've adopted hybrid working This means you’ll join us on site for three days a week, and for the other two days – you can work from wherever you like! The onsite location for this role is at our Factory ‘Hadley Park’, in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, right in the heart of where our chocolates are made and where weekly, we can produce between 4 to 6 million of the chocolates we all know and love.

    Hadley Park is just 5 minutes off the A141 and 1.3 miles from Huntingdon train station, with direct rail links to London King’s Cross.

    What you’ll be doing

    • Generation of reports to show future material requirements.
    • Working with procurement to ensure products and pricing set up is up to date.
    • Creating and issuing material forecasts to supply base.
    • Raising Purchase Orders on the system.
    • Sending purchase orders to suppliers.
    • Chasing suppliers for confirmation of delivery dates on purchase orders and filing confirmations.
    • Completing any customs paperwork requirements.
    • Recording supplier delivery information.
    • Reviewing shelf-life risks.
    • Preparing stock at risk reports.
    • Investigating invoice queries and resolving issues.

    Who you are

    Essential

    • Robust numeracy skills.
    • Robust communication skills – both written and verbal English.
    • IT literate – Outlook, Teams and Excel.

    Desirable

    • Previous admin experience
    • Able to handle big data sets in Excel
    • Experience of order and invoicing systems
