    We are delighted to present a unique and exciting opportunity to join the fastest growing surety team in the UK market, with significant earning potential. Surety is a niche, yet incredibly versatile product, offered by insurance companies. The concept of surety has been in existence for thousands of years, and as a high level summary, involves one party guaranteeing either contractual or commercial obligations of another. In the UK, the most common market that surety is used is in construction, with the surety guaranteeing the performance of a building contractor under a contract. A career in surety entails a wide range of tasks and develops skills in a number of areas, including contract law and financial account analysis as well as the commercial negotiations required for a broker role.

    Skills & Experience

    • A determination and willingness to learn about insurance concepts and the market
    • Written and oral business fluency in English
    • Ability to work well as part of an open and collaborative team
    • Analytical, with an attention to detail
    • Articulate, personable and willing to, in time, meet clients and their advisors to explain our offering
    • Insurance knowledge is not required and full training will be provided
    • Law Degree/Law Background
    • An understanding of general and legal principles of insurance
    • Relevant experience in an account handling or technical role is desirable
