    To gain experience of working within a Technical Engineering function, whilst having exposure to the following tasks.

    Key Tasks

    • Preparation of manufacturing routes for quotation (draft) and production (detailed) purposes
    • Document detailed heat treatment processes for each product
    • Liaison with customers to resolve process and specification issues before order acceptance
    • Define and control metallurgical/engineering requirements on material and subcontract purchase orders
    • Review and approve receipt of raw material based on certification, testing and purchase order requirements, prior to issue
    • Monitor all processes to determine, maintain and improve capability
    • Define, launch and monitor sample and development products in support of customer orders and Product/process development
    • Investigation of product non-conformance in conjunction with the technical team
    • Actively pursue cost reduction opportunities through refinement of methods and increased process capability
    • Adhere to all Health and Safety policies and procedures and working practices

    Qualifications

    • Currently studying a degree within Aerospace Manufacturing.
