This is an entry level role. Some previous knowledge of marketing is advantageous but not essential as full training will be given.
The ideal candidate
- A minimum of 5 grades at GCSE (at grade 5 and above or equivalent) including Maths and English. Good A Level results or equivalent
- Ability to manage a number of tasks at one time and work to tight deadlines
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to build rapport and relationships at all levels
- Ability to prioritise work and be flexible to meet strict deadlines
- Be able to work independently as well as a good team member
- Excellent organisational skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- IT literate and previous use of MS Office would be essential
- Formal marketing training will be considered after probation
- Driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential (you will be required to drive to external events as and when required)
- Right to work within the UK without sponsorship
Responsibilities
- Create monthly email newsletters using MailChimp to send to clients and prospects
- Reviewing branded documents and ensuring templates are kept up to date
- Manage and update marketing prospect database on the CRM system and run reports
- Maintain the marketing database. Use the data to produce reports
- Assist with the set up and planning for internal / external events and client webinars
- Update staff intranet, internal information screens and external company website
- Create and manage posts on HWB social media channels, including video creation
- Get involved with internal charity fundraising and events
- Build surveys/questionnaires/polls to help with various initiatives
- Update press releases and articles with amendments from staff
- Cover the reception desk daily for lunchtime and answering reception overflow calls as and when required
- Other ad hoc marketing or administrative duties as and when required
