About the role

We’re hiring for a Social Content Creator! As a full-time content creator you will be responsible for generating content for client’s TikTok, Instagram, YouTube shorts and Facebook accounts, including short-form videos, product demos, and BTS footage during photo-shoots.

Working closely with the Production and Content teams, you will be a central point of contact for the wider agency, and a go-to person for all things short-form content.

You’ll also be responsible for sharing your knowledge and expertise and upskilling the rest of the content production team on short-form video best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation: Produce high-quality short-form social media videos that showcase our client's products or services in an engaging and creative manner.
  • Strategy & Ideation: Collaborate with client teams to develop concepts that effectively communicate our client's key messages and values.
  • Research & Planning: Conduct research into new trends on each platform to use in your content creation, and ability to formulate a shoot plan for precise execution on shooting days
  • Filming: Utilise your skills to shoot video content on-location or in our studio, ensuring a polished and professional final product that meets our client's standards.
  • Editing: Edit content for TikTok and Reels, quickly, confidently and with your own creative flair, with the ability to re-edit long-form video content into short-form.
  • Analysis: Monitor and evaluate the success of posted content, with a strong understanding of performance data and ability to take that information and apply to future content.

What you’ll need

To be successful in this role, you will be a social-first thinker who understands the visual language and editing styles of various social media platforms, particularly TikTok. You will also need:

  • Strong editing skills, and experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut or similar in-app editing suites (or transferrable skills).
  • Camera skills, specifically for vertical video (knowledge of optimal camera angles, setting exposure, shooting for the edit etc.)
  • Ability to produce high-quality content in a short space of time.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding the different approaches to content for each social media platform
  • Ability to work independently on a video project, from conception through to delivery.
  • Willingness to travel to various locations across UK for client shoots (a driving licence and own transport would be an advantage).
  • It would also be preferable to have knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects. On-camera presenting sills and knowledge of content management tools (such as Hootsuite, Facebook Business Suite etc).
