    Key Accountabilities

    Located at the European Divisional Support Centre in Irvine, Ayrshire, this 12 to 15-month placement will report to a key member of the European Materials Planning Team. The successful applicants will work in a team responsible for providing the following key responsibilities:

    • Update the Material Planning systems with Suppliers and Logistics provider information
    • Participate in weekly team meetings and learn to work as part of the team
    • Support the Supply Manager with analytical reporting
    • Manage a number of Vendor Accounts where you will learn and develop; system, interpersonal & communication skills
    • Purchase Order management, with global supply base, to ensure on-time delivery
    • Support the Team in meeting key performance metrics for Supplier Quality, Delivery and Invoice accuracy

    Knowledge Required

    • Candidates should be working towards a degree in Commercial or Business Studies related courses.
    • Candidates must have good customer focused skills, to enable them to correspond effectively with suppliers.
    • Candidates should be able to work enthusiastically and efficiently within a team.
