About the job
This role is part of the Corporate Technology team which is responsible for designing, building and maintaining the bank's key finance, compliance and legal technology platforms. These include anti-money laundering, market conduct, liquidity and risk capital applications. The bank is looking for highly organised, structured and details orientated individuals to assist in its knowledge management transformation. Particular focus will be on ensuring the bank is consolidating core application design and function knowledge in a coherent and methodical manner.
Key responsibilities
- You'll be responsible for consolidating, re-organising and writing key knowledge bases and knowledge articles.
- This will include system architecture diagrams, functional specifications, operational processes, quality of service requirements and application user guides.
- You will be working with software application owners, software development leads and business analysts to gather and understand their requirements.
- You will have responsibility for implementing the requirements in order to meet the bank's knowledge management standards.
- You will interact with a wide range of stakeholders who have diverse experience, knowledge and skillsets.
What you'll need to be successful

- Exhibits a structured approach to capturing and storing information.
- Has experience in a technology or technical driven domain enabling them to capture and distribute information.
- Demonstrates the ability to organise disparate information sets and consolidate them where necessary.
- Can demonstrate the value of clear and concise knowledge articles.
- Has created and/or maintained knowledge bases, wiki's, how-to articles.
- Has strong interviewing and inter-personal communication skills.
- Enjoys bringing clarity to a working environment where the starting point is often ambiguous. Communicating the ambiguity and its resolution is also important.
- A collaborative and team orientated individual that recognises the contributions of different viewpoints and skills.
