We are currently seeking a Technical Analyst in the Quality Control department. The role will include undertaking specific tasks and responsibilities within the QC Function that will support the team to ensure the department provides the best possible service to its internal and external customers.
Job requirements
QC Analyst required 37.5 hours. Monday to Friday days, also covering shifts will be required for holidays, training and other absences. This will attract a high premium shift allowance when working shifts in addition to the salary, which is competitive in the market with good benefits, including private pension scheme, private health care, life assurance, reward & recognition scheme, long service awards, cycle to work scheme and much more.
- Laboratory based analytical experience
- Experience of GLC, GCMS, titrations and other wet chemistry analysis is essential
- Good communicator who is self-motivated, dedicated and well organised
- Good working knowledge and experience of a lab
- Work alongside the QC Coordinator to oversee the day to day running of the laboratory
- Process out of specification and concessional release paperwork
- Ensure samples are processed through QC within the desired time period and priorities are managed
- Calibrate, develop methods and standardise all equipment and chemicals in line with Quality Systems
- Chemistry degree or working toward preferred or equivalent with substantial experience
