The role
The candidate should have a keen interest in finance someone who would like to gain experience in a fast-paced Private Equity company. The role is both broad and varied and you will report to the Operations Director/Senior Portfolio Accountant. We are looking for strong academics, excellent data analysis skills and attention to details.
The candidates would support the teams across different strategies on:
- Support the Portfolio Analyst with monthly Flash Reporting for 60+ Portfolio Companies.
- Supporting the Fund Analyst with investor queries and audit confirmation requests.
- Support the Senior Portfolio Accountant on the preparation of Quarterly valuation reports for investors and providing assistance as and when required on the annual valuation audit process.
- Support with the preparation of presentations used in key meetings.
- Other ad-hoc duties include providing support on quarterly reporting.
Job requirements
Our expectations
- The candidate must hold an accounting degree (or similar) and be willing to be ACA/ACCA qualified in the future.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to easily build relationships both internally in IK and with Portfolio management teams.
- A team player who can manage different workstreams during busy periods.
- Financially literate, analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- Great knowledge of Microsoft Office package, particularly Excel, modelling, Power BI, but not essential.
- The candidate must be a quick learner, self-starter, keen to learn and be prepared to work longer hours particularly during busy periods to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of private equity funds would be preferable but non-essential.
