What we offer

  • The Start Date of employment will be: March 2025
  • Starting salary of £26,400 based on competence and experience .
  • 39 hours working 5 days per week. Normal working hours for this role are 7am to 3:45pm. This role might require availability to work late evenings, weekends, and night shifts. Shifts may change according to business/project needs.

What you'll need to have

  • You have a degree in a relevant creative field or prior experience working as a Visual Merchandiser
  • You have worked with design software such as Autodesk REVIT, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office, is essential.
  • You are excited about home furnishings, design, how people live, and have the ability to create new ideas that inspire our customers.
  • You have a hands-on approach, feeling at ease working with various tools and comfortable working at heights.

What you'll be doing day to day

  • You will use visual merchandising to strengthen the uniqueness of the IKEA identity working with store layout, range presentation and vitality.
  • You understand the local market using this understanding to plan and implement relevant, inspiring, affordable and commercial range presentation solutions that reflect a wide variety of styles, price levels, meet the many individual tastes and exceed our visitor's expectations.
  • You will collaborate with the Communication & Interior Design team and other functions, acting quickly with your commercial partners to maximise opportunities with an understanding of the impact of your actions on the financial results.
  • You work closely with the commercial calendar to implement range changes.
