    The purpose of the job is to support with the operation of the ICT service. The job holder will assist the ICT Manager in the daily maintenance and troubleshooting of audio-visual equipment, printers, laptops, PC’s, and network equipment.

    The role

    Key purpose of the role

    • To support with the first level of IT Helpdesk;
    • To assist with the IT setup and troubleshooting during school’s events;
    • To support users with IT queries and troubleshoot problems;
    • To assist with daily devices’ maintenance (PC, projectors, audio systems, printers, etc.);
    • To help with the operation of the Computer and Design labs;
    • To support with school applications and software updating;
    • To participate in the deployment of new desktops, laptops and software;
    • To work flexibly and support the department by undertaking appropriate duties as required.

    Education and skills

    • Educated at a Bachelors Degree level or possessing a high school diploma in computer usage and technology;
    • Good knowledge of Apple and Windows clients;
    • Knowledge of remote tools and helpdesk tools is desirable;
    • Must be a team-player and willing to collaborate and contribute to the work of the team;
    • Ability to work independently;
    • Ability to prioritise own workload.
