Hybrid Working Model
Imagination Technologies operates a hybrid working model globally that allows our employees to split their time between attending the workplace and working remotely.
What you’ll be doing
In short: You will be writing software to bring new AI hardware to life and optimise it to show it at its best.
Our software development team works closely with other teams in a flexible and informal atmosphere, very open to suggestions for improvement. You will be contributing to a C++ codebase of tools which help our customers implement accelerated machine learning applications on their devices. You will be working alongside hardware, research and customer engineers, and at all stages of the development, from requirements through to design, development and support. There are a number of different software components, some already out in the field, and some not yet specified. You will gain familiarity with several and may become a core contributor to a few of them.
Who you are
We need self-driven enthusiastic people, who like to fight for the best solution. With a passion for the technology, it will be important to keep up to date with the latest technologies, professionally and even through personal projects. You will be someone who can spot problems and opportunities before they happen and find ways of improving how we work.
Committed to making your customers, stakeholders and colleagues successful, you’re an excellent communicator, listener and collaborator who builds trusted partnerships by delivering what you say, when you say. You’re curious, solutions orientated and a world-class problem solver who constantly seeks opportunities to innovate and achieve the best possible outcome to the highest imaginable standard.
You have
- A good degree in computing, engineering, maths or science.
- Object-oriented programming experience (C++, C#, Java) is essential.
You might also have
- Experience with Machine Learning related technologies such as TensorFlow or Caffe.
- An understanding of linear algebra and mathematical principles behind basic CNN operations, such as convolution or pooling.
- Some knowledge of Linux and Python
- Some knowledge of Continuous Integration and Agile development.
- You will also have an interest in learning about low level software.
- Good communication and the ability to persuade will be useful skills.
Who do you want to be?
Do you dare to think big? Do you want to change the status quo and speak up when you see how there’s a better way of doing things? We listen, we’re supportive and we’re open to new ideas. Whatever it takes to make an impact, you’ll be respected and helped along the way.
