    The role

    The role of Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO) Data Analyst is to support the EPMO Team within Global IT. The successful candidate will be assisting the EPMO Team including:

    • Maintain project portfolio reporting and continuously improve reporting depth and insights
    • Maintain and update the portfolio PowerBI dashboards and seek continuous improvement opportunities for visualisation/automation
    • Conduct project quality assurance checks to continuously drive data quality
    • Work collaboratively with IT Finance on internal effort allocation recharging and other relevant financial reporting
    • Work collaboratively with the Operational PMO team on IT resource management and internal effort allocation such as analytics on resource utilisation, internal effort allocation and timesheets compliance
    • Work closely with the PPM vendor for reporting continuity and enhancement

    Key accountabilities

    • Provide timely portfolio reports to support the monthly IT Project Portfolio Steering Group meetings
    • Maintain PowerBI connections and data accuracy embedded in the PPM tool
    • Liaise with IT business partners globally and Operational PMO team to ensure accurate demand/project data
    • Provide timely timesheet compliance and internal effort allocation report to support monthly internal effort posting
    • Lead quarterly internal effort recharging process including providing recharge snapshots, communicating with project managers and IT Finance and managing exceptions

    Skills & experience

    • Educated to degree level, ideally in Information Technology, Engineering Business, Economics or equivalent
    • Strong data analytical skills
    • Experience with developing visual dashboards using PowerBI
    • Good interpersonal and communication skills to engage with internal stakeholders
    • Experience with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
    • Experience with IT project and/or portfolio management is desirable but not essential
