    We are currently seeking to recruit a Graduate/Junior Mechanical Engineer with suitable experience, certification and qualifications to work on a range of scopes across the contracts IMRANDD are executing.

    Purpose

    Deliver Junior Engineering support services and consultancy to the satisfaction of the client.

    Accountabilities

    • Provide engineer assistance on assigned projects as directed by senior discipline engineers.
    • Undertake condition assessments and risk analysis of equipment to establish inspection schemes.
    • Work with Senior and Discipline Engineers to support integrity management deliverables for key projects, through use of data analytics software and sound engineering practices.
    • Take a role in co-ordinating certain activities, ensuring the project implementation remains in accordance with quality and project plans.
    • Assist in audit of integrity management strategies and delivery of continuous improvement of integrity management systems.

    Essential Skills and Qualifications

    • BEng in Mechanical Engineering or MSc in Corrosion/Chemical Engineering​​​​​​​
    • Confidence in manipulating data sets
    • Knowledge of basic integrity management principles
    • Knowledge in the field of material selection (Metals, non-metallic materials), corrosion principles.
    • The ability to work effectively unsupervised, maintaining good work prioritisation and time management across multiple tasks.​​​​​​​

    Additional Skills and Qualifications

    • Relevant previous work, summer placement or year in industry experience is desirable.
    • Demonstrable clear written / spoken English communication skills.
    • Highly motivated with an innovative and analytical mind.
    • Maintains pride in presentation/output, enthusiastic, conscientious and keen to learn.
    • Commitment to involvement in industry / educational / STEM seminars and activities.
    • Highly competent in M365 package
