    Are you a Physics or Maths Graduate? – ITP Aero are looking for a Graduate Thermal Modelling Developer to join our growing team in Whetstone, Leicestershire.

    The successful Graduate Thermal Modelling Developer will join our software development team and will work on the development of our ESATAN-TMS product. If you are looking for a new challenge please read on!

    About you

    • Education: Has a BSc in Physics, Maths or equivalent (essential)
    • Experience required: Software Development (desirable)

    Knowledge in

    • Programming in C++ (essential)
    • Solving thermal problems during degree or post graduate study (essential)
    • Java, C# or similar (desirable)
    • Software engineering processes such as Agile Development (desirable)
    • Object-oriented software design including UML (desirable)
    • Graphic libraries, such as OpenGL (desirable)
    • Language: English (essential)

    Soft Skills

    • Technical problem-solving skills (desirable)
    • Written and verbal communication/presentation skills (desirable)
    • Enthusiastic, can-do approach (desirable)

    What training will you receive

    You will work alongside a strategic multidisciplinary team for the company, and you will be able to apply your knowledge in our tool ESATAN-TMS and join our team of engineers, mathematicians, physicists and computing experts to provide the broadest technical base for development of professional, scientific software.

    You will be trained in

    • Use of the ESATAN-TMS tool set.
    • Use of software development tools.
    • Various online software development modules.

    Who will I work with 

    You will work at ITP Aero from its site in Whetstone, Leicestershire under the guidance of professionals with extensive experience in the sector in a leading company in aeronautical engines and components that ranks among the top companies in the global aeronautical industry.

    You will report to the Software Development Manager and work closely with the development team on the maintenance of the product and on the implementation of new functionality.
