    Are you looking to build connections in the infrastructure investment industry, develop your technical skills and gain an overall understanding of how InfraRed operates as a successful and responsible international infrastructure investor with sustainability at its core?

    Joining InfraRed’s 9-week 2024 Summer Internship you will be part of our team working on live deals, valuations, financial analysis, and fund-related reporting allowing you to gain valuable experience and insights into the infrastructure investment industry. Your work will have an impact. We will provide you with structured training and learning, ongoing mentorship, informal socials, networking, and exposure to a variety of business lines and stakeholders.

    Your job responsibilities will include

    • Participating in the origination and execution of infrastructure and energy investment opportunities with a primary focus on Europe. Be a part of our deal teams, supporting our Analysts and Associates (“A&As”) on tasks related to financial modelling (e.g., DCF and project finance) and due diligence review
    • Supporting the Portfolio Management teams with financial planning & valuation work for Fund reporting
    • Assisting in preparation of presentations of investment opportunities and reporting to the investment committee (“IC”)
    • Providing analytical support to the team on competitor analysis and market reviews
    • Visiting one or more of our local assets alongside the Asset Management team

    About you

    As a future Summer Intern, you should meet the following criteria:

    • Currently studying for an undergraduate or master’s degree with a leading business school or university. Demonstrating a strong academic result, achieving minimum 2:1 or equivalent.
    • Expected to graduate in 2024 or 2025 with availability to work between the end of June and end of August 2024.
    • Genuine interest in infrastructure, renewables, energy transition or sustainable investments as a sector.
    • Ideally have experience from a previous internship with an Infrastructure or Private Equity fund, M&A or project finance team of a leading bank or Transaction Services team of a leading audit firm.
    • Excellent communicator, fluent in both written and spoken English. A second European language is desirable.
    • Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
