The successful candidate will be working within Energy Management Group and reporting to the Cost Engineering Manager. They will get broad engineering experience in energy efficiency improvement for facilities both for the Leixlip site and the corporation throughout the duration of the employment period. This work directly supports Intel's Sustainability, Energy, Carbon and Net Zero goals.
Please note this is a 23-month contract.
The Scope of the role will include
- Facilities asset engineering assessment
- Energy data extraction, analysis and reporting
- Energy Monitoring and Targeting, Energy Performance Indicator development
- Energy System ISO 50001 operation
- Energy conservation project identification and feasibility Analysis
- HVAC Automatic Fault Detection rule set development
- Problem-solving and data analysis.
- Report writing and presentations.
Qualifications
- The candidate will have an academic background minimum Level 8 degree in Energy/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- They will need to be a self-starter and good team player with demonstrated interpersonal skills and a flexible attitude to problem-solving and goal setting.
- Specific IT knowledge of databases such as SQL, Analysis tools Microsoft excel, PowerBI Tableau, Statistical tools R, JMP. Knowledge of Engineering systems such as SCADA, BMS, and electrical metering systems; facilities systems such as chillers, HVAC, boilers, pumps and fans. Good knowledge of instrumentation, metering, engineering units and data conversion.
- They also need to be well-disciplined in regards to policies and procedures and have a keen eye for detail.
