Position description
In this position you will work as part of the CS Fab Facilities and Operations team in the Site Projects Group. As a graduate you will join a team of Engineers and Project Managers gaining practical on-site experience working in a wide variety of specialized process, mechanical and electrical systems in a live manufacturing facility.
SPG work across the entire site including manufacturing and front of house buildings. In this position you will work with multiple stakeholders and M and E contractors, Architectural contractors and Design firms.
Roles and responsibilities
- Support SPG project managers managing a wide spectrum of Construction projects to enable Intel businesses including new front of house conversions, facility system upgrades, emergency break fix repairs and energy projects.
- Manage day to day construction operations to ensure project safety is maintained
- Translate business and technical requirements into high quality designs that enable biddable, affordable and constructible solutions.
- Foster innovation and transform traditional construction practices by driving new methods and engineering solutions by leveraging industry insights to Intel's multidimensional challenges
- Review Quality Incidents and quality KPIs.
- Use data extraction, datamining and analysis skills to identify trends/outliers to reduce program/schedule/Quality variation and drive corrective action
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives with your team/organization which will improve the construction performance of the area.
- Identify innovative solutions to problems and influence required stakeholders to drive/implement change.

Qualifications
Graduated within the last 2 years, or are scheduled to graduate in August 2023, with a minimum of an NFQ Level 8 in the Mechanical Engineering field.
Qualified applicants from Electrical, Chemical, Construction management, or similar fields, will also will be considered.
