Job Description
The Business Analyst will support the overall management of information, data analysis and reporting across Medical and Security Assistance Services (MSAS) to enable regional and functional management teams to make informed data driven decisions and identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
Key Responsibilities
- Extract, transform, analyse and share data with relevant business stakeholders
- Create and maintain business intelligence tools for stakeholders, surface insights from primarily MSAS Content Services Business Unit related data
- Proactively analyse data and identify value-adding trends and insights that can be highlighted to business stakeholders
- Using excellent presentation and influencing skills, deliver insights and recommendations to the MSAS leadership community in a compelling way
- Using excellent data visualisation and design skills, contribute to the MSAS content production cycle itself
- Identify opportunities for automation, improvement in time to market and quality of insights and work with MSAS Data CoE developer colleagues to achieve them
- Support the demand management process around MSAS reporting and contribute to the MSAS BI & Data Analytics roadmap with new ideas
- Support any recurring business intelligence requirements of the MSAS CS BU ads well as the MSAS leadership community
- Maintain in-depth understanding of and act as subject-matter expert on CS BU data and processes
- Maintain high-level understanding of broader MSAS service delivery
- Champion data privacy and security policies with stakeholders at all times
Qualification
- Strong business acumen, the ability to communicate in English fluently; to read and write effectively; fluency in other languages an advantage
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to influence through business knowledge
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment, adaptable, agile-minded with a strong networking mindset
- Problem solving and root-cause analysis skills
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in a commercially focused business analysis position preferred
- Masters / Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or any similar field is preferred
Technical Skills
- Proficient Excel, PowerPoint and MS PowerBI preferred
- SQL, Relational databases, MS Office 365 , Salesforce an advantage
