    The Investment20/20 Programme

    We are proud to be a part of the Investment20/20 initiative, and we are delighted be recruiting for a number of 12 month placements across the business. You’ll have the chance to play an active role and contribute to the success of the function, and with this you’ll gain industry knowledge and experience whilst developing relationships.

    What are we looking for?

    Our ETF Capital Markets team are seeking an enthusiastic Junior Capital Markets Analyst to join their department. The successful individual will support and assist in engaging with the broker dealer community, stock exchanges and platforms, as well as partnering with client trading specialists in conveying execution guidance to Invesco ETF clients across EMEA.

    You will be involved in

    • Supporting and assisting the team in day-to-day activities for primary and secondary market monitoring in Invesco ETFs listed in EMEA.
    • Contributing to reports, client presentations, and miscellaneous thematic and thought leadership pieces.
    • Working with the team to monitor markets and formulate trade ideas and market commentaries.
    • Assisting the team with the launch of new ETFs and listings.

    What do we need from you?

    • A strong interest in the financial markets, macroeconomics, investments, or finance
    • Some experience in Python, SQL, and/or VBA is desirable, but not essential
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong numeracy skills
    • Exceptional analytical skills
    • To be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills
    • Keen attention to detail
    • Open minded and enthusiastic
    • A proactive attitude to learning

    • Start date of the programme: September 2024
    • Salary: £26,500 per annum
