We are proud to be a part of the Investment20/20 initiative, and we are delighted be recruiting for a number of 12 month placements across the business. You’ll have the chance to play an active role and contribute to the success of the function, and with this you’ll gain industry knowledge and experience whilst developing relationships.
These roles are traineeship opportunities, so we are specifically looking for school leavers, college leavers, graduates and non-graduates. We offer entry level work experiences that will inspire and challenge you!
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a Junior Purchasing Analyst to join our Global Procurement team. This individual will provide high-quality support to the Procurement Manager and Strategic Sourcing Managers (SSM’s), becoming an e-Pro system champion/trainer, whilst managing their own projects which proactively deliver against milestones and deliverables.
You will be involved in
- Supporting the preparation and analysis of expenditure data under the direction of the Director of Procurement Operations.
- Becoming an e-Pro system ‘super-user’, training and advising the business to surpass compliance targets.
- Actively reviewing previously unaddressable expenditure, assessing the current vendors, the marketplace and the competitiveness of current terms to establish and then deliver savings.
What do we need from you?
- An inquisitive nature and an interest to understand and explore the world of Procurement.
- Proficient use of PC software including Word, Excel, Outlook and other packages as required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to remain calm in a pressured environment
- Strong numeracy skills
- To be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Open minded and enthusiastic
- A proactive attitude to learning
