Your team
Invesco Real Estate is recognised for providing research-led forward-looking views on the markets we operate in. Our research-driven strategy process is integrated into the investment decision making process and supports all parts of the business. Our deep market knowledge is showcased in our semi-annual House View reports, which analyses a variety of economic and real estate market data, in order to formulate our investment views.
The European strategy team currently comprises a dedicated team of six professionals located across Europe. The European team is part of the global strategy function team totalling 20 people based around the world.
Your role
This role sits within the European team, working closely with the European Investment Strategist and the European Strategic Analytics team to deliver strategic support on a number of European markets to all areas of the European business.

You will be involved in
- Working with other members of the business on the analysis of European economies and the forecasting of real estate markets.
- Working with other members of the strategy team to support Invesco Real Estate’s investment professionals in the interpretation of the House View and the production of high-quality research materials.
- Proactively assisting with the development of Invesco Real Estate’s forecasting systems, models and investment views.
- Developing specialist knowledge of a number of economies, markets and sectors, to be agreed with the team.
- Developing knowledge of external data providers in order to help maintain the quality and accuracy of the European real estate data set.
- Using statistical analysis methods to identify relationships among factors related to real estate performance.
You’ll need
- A degree, or equivalent qualification, in Real Estate, Geography, Urban Planning, Economics, Maths (or a similar numerate subject), or to be able to demonstrate equivalent academic calibre.
- Fluent in English and at least one additional major European language
- Some experience of working in a real estate environment, preferably with a real estate fund manager would be advantageous.
- Experience of market research in Europe would be a benefit.
