The Global Digital team helps Ipsen functions and businesses leverage technology, data and advanced analytics to boost performance. We directly support Ipsen strategic priorities through the delivery of differentiating Digital projects and solutions and the building of critical Digital and analytics capabilities.
Within this group, the Digital Health team focuses on Commercial innovation – “Beyond the Drug” solutions that accelerate patient diagnosis, enhance the value of our products, and provide a better experience for patients and HCPs.
The role
As a Digital Health Product Owner Intern, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and launching such solutions. Under the guidance of the Senor Digital Health Manager, you will manage the development of one or two Digital Health solutions and drive the action plan to put them on the market. In doing so, you will partner closely with the development team, cross-functional global teams as well as local business partners – in an agile environment.
Main responsibilities
As a Digital Health Product Owner Intern, you will have the unique opportunity to be an integral part of our Digital Health team and contribute to the development of innovative software solutions for physicians and patients. Some of the solutions you will contribute to are Medical Devices. Your main responsibilities will include:
Product Ownership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business owners, software developers, and healthcare professionals, to gather requirements and define the scope of Digital Health solutions.
Project Management: Manage software development through Jira and Confluence, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining project documentation (specifications, risk analysis… technical dossier). Onboard, involve and update properly relevant internal stakeholders.
Quality Assurance: Monitor and contribute to software testing and quality assurance processes to ensure our products meet high standards of functionality and usability. Some solutions aim to comply with EU Medical Device Regulations.
User Experience (UX) Analysis: If needed, conduct user research, gather feedback, and provide valuable insights to improve user experience and overall product satisfaction.
Launch: Plan and manage product launch with local business teams and ensure that performance is tracked, as well as maintenance and evolutions are carried out.
Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest digital health trends and technologies to contribute fresh ideas and innovative solutions. Seek opportunities for improvement and suggest new projects.

Requirements
To succeed in this internship role, you should possess the following qualifications and interests:
- Pursuing a Master's degree: in medicine, pharmacy, engineering, business, law, or another relevant scientific discipline. Prior experience/ knowledge on Medical Devices is a big plus.
- Passion for Digital Health: Demonstrated interest in the healthcare industry and a strong desire to leverage technology to improve patient outcomes and pharmaceutical services.
- Technical Background: Basic understanding of software development concepts and technologies, such as programming languages, databases, and web development. Interest and skills for Project Management.
- Knowledge of the Pharma / Medical Devices industry: Awareness of various healthcare regulations, stakeholders, and their needs and concerns preferred, especially in Pharmacovigilance, Business Ethics, Privacy, Quality, and Regulatory.
- Excellent Communication & People Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to build relationships quickly, manage stakeholders, and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Adaptability: Eagerness to learn and ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. Willingness to take ownership, act with autonomy and proactively propose solutions/ next steps.
- Team Player: Proven ability to work well within a team, contributing ideas, and supporting collective goals. Willingness to contribute to the great atmosphere of the team.
- English: full fluency required. French preferred.
