    Programme details 

    The programme is set to start in the summer 2024 and will run for 18 months.  The Graduate Programme offers a unique opportunity for candidates straight out of university to develop their career pathway in the pharmaceutical industry. As a Graduate at Ipsen, you will become an integral member of a Specialty Care UK cross-functional team, supporting the tactical implementation of Ipsen’s product portfolio strategy, making a real contribution in all roles you take on. It is also a great role for the development of technical competencies including analytical skills, communicational skills, and matrix leadership. 

    The role

    As the Business Excellence Graduate, you will join a high-performing team responsible for executing critical business excellence workstreams. Your focus will be on turning data into actionable insights to continually improve our customer experience, drive revenue growth, and stay ahead of the competition. If you thrive in a data-driven environment and are passionate about optimizing business processes, this role is ideal for you.

    Key activities include: 

    • Developing an understanding processes, systems, and insights that contribute to achieving business  
    • Partnering with the Business Excellence team on projects aimed at generating insights and excellence in customer engagement and execution. 
    • Assisting in the annual strategic, operational, and budget planning process. 
    • Working closely with our CRM administrator to complete key Veeva tasks include customer target list refreshes, territory allocation, VAE upload and customer engagement data analysis  
    • Working closely with the Business Excellence Specialist to capture and manage all data sources (both internal and external) including integration of these sources into global/local systems and master data management. 
    • Supporting the creation & development of KPI dashboards which enable continuous performance measurement & improvement and whilst adapting to the changing internal & external business environment through racking the execution of annual strategic & operational plans. 
    • Supporting the development of tailored & meaningful reports with customer insights from available data sources, translating and communicating the results of the reports to internal stakeholders. 

    Qualifications & experience 

    You will hold or be on target to achieve a 2:1 or higher degree in a STEM subject by September 2024. Furthermore, you will possess a keen interest in data, analytics, and business desire to forge a career in the commercial landscape of biopharmaceutical industry. 

    You will need to be fluent in English and have a maximum of two years’ postgraduate professional experience.
