This will be achieved through leading or participating in a range of multiple diverse projects from; the implementation of the asset centric medical tactical plan and measuring the impact of the projects, involvement in local data generation studies, creation and delivery of medical information responses to patient and health care professional queries, understanding the risk benefit profile of Ipsen’s medicines and implementation of appropriate programs to manage identified risks. It is also an opportunity for the development of technical competencies, communicational skills and matrix leadership.
This 18-month Graduate scheme offers the opportunity to experience a range of functions and departments through rotations across Ipsen medical teams, exposing Graduates to various medical sub-specialist roles, empowering them with autonomy and responsibility.
The rotations will be within the functions listed below
- Therapy area medical Affairs team (Oncology, Neuroscience and Rare Diseases)
- Medical Information
- Pharmacovigilance
- Clinical Operations (clinical trials)
- Medical Governance
Main responsibilities / job expectations
- Work in collaboration with relevant teams in the development of the operational plans and their implementation.
- Participate in a range of short- and long-term projects, taking ownership on some, supporting on others, executing select initiatives to successful completion.
- Support the development of materials, responses and prepare and coordinate internal and external communications.
- Build and maintain effective sponsor and stakeholder relationships.
- Participate in and deliver various Continuous Improvement activities.
- Prepare, review and edit relevant documentation.
- Demonstrate strong collaboration with all Departments and ensuring a “One Ipsen” mindset.
Knowledge, abilities & experience
Education / Certifications:
Required
- 2.1 Bachelor’s degree or higher
Desired (not essential)
- MSc, MPhil, PhD or equivalent
Experience:
- Relevant internship with industry experience is a plus
