Ipsos is one of the world’s largest research companies, with offices in 90 markets. As Ipsos’ in-house healthcare consultancy, Healthcare Advisory occupies a unique space. We have the heart and agility of a start-up paired with the big-league scale and diversity of a large global agency.
As part of the Healthcare Advisory team, you will play a key role in helping the team to deliver our client engagements, assisting in executive interviews, supporting in both primary and secondary research, preparing deliverables and helping to present to clients such as Novo Nordisk, GSK, Roche, Boston Scientific and Novartis.
No two projects are the same, and the work spans a variety of topics in both pharmaceuticals and health tech, as well as across a range of therapy areas (including CVD, diabetes, cancer, vaccines). Typical engagements include developing go-to-market strategies, understanding patient care pathways, policy advocacy, and assessing the impacts of health inequalities on patient outcomes. These are all underpinned by the great research Ipsos is known for.
It is not just about what we do, but how we do it. We’re passionate about what we do and relentless in the pursuit of excellence. We know that we’re stronger as a team and champion the things that make us different. So, if you are kind, curious and ambitious, this could just be the place for you.
What will I be doing?
The Advisory business is a key pillar of Ipsos’ future growth, and we expect every one of our team to exemplify what it means to be collaborative, consultative, and courageous, not only ourselves, but to Ipsos and to our clients.
You’ll play a key role in supporting the team in ideation and knowledge curation, developing and winning pitches, insight synthesis and delivering projects for clients across the life sciences sector.
Under the direction of senior members of the team, you will support the delivery of proposals and projects through activities, such as:
- Building project plans, creating timelines, and undertaking project management activities
- Developing a strong understanding of our clients’ business challenges and goals and creating analyses that answer their key questions;
- Contributing to the scoping of proposals and own sections of the proposal writing process, including basic desk-research to support hypotheses;
- Taking complex, messy information and data and synthesise these into concise foresight;

- Attending face-to-face or virtual workshops in a note-taking or back-room technical capacity;
- Attending debriefs with clients and capturing comments and build deliverables;
- Building relationships with the immediate team, clients, and broader Ipsos community (locally and globally);
What do I need to bring with me?
The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of both left brain (analytical) and right-brain (creative) skills to bear on our client’s problems: someone who is as comfortable in building a technical model in Excel as they are building a beautiful slide deck in PowerPoint. Our approach to solving problems requires fluidity and comfort in ambiguity.
