We are looking for a talented Graduate to join the Audience Measurement team at Ipsos. Audience Measurement is an entrepreneurial division, looking for highly talented individuals who are interested in being a part of a dynamic and energised team.
We are the only research agency simultaneously involved in all the UK audience measurement projects covering Print, Radio, TV, Online, Out-of-Home and Cross-media. This heritage and experience has allowed us to build unrivalled experience in innovative custom solutions.
We are currently a seeking Graduate Research Executive to support two teams: Ipsos Global Influencers (IGI) and the TouchPoints team.
The Ipsos Global Influencers is an annual international syndicated research study, for which the main objectives are:
- Measuring the audience of international media brands amongst the high-end business portion of the general population
- Supplying profile data on the audience, in terms of Business Decision making, Personal Finance, Technology, Luxury and Travel,
- Collecting additional data on themes related to business actuality and developing market narratives to support our subscribers’ own marketing activities
TouchPoints is a bi-annual UK-only cross-media survey gathering insights into the way people interact with media in their daily lives. The survey consists of:
- 7 day, half hourly, Progress Web App diary
- Separate standalone questionnaire covering media habits, attitudes and demographics
Role overview
As a Graduate Research Executive, you’ll be encouraged to take responsibility from the outset - thrown straight into working on live projects for some our clients. You will gain exposure to a variety of research approaches, whilst working alongside industry experts.
This role will be to support the Senior Research Executives, Research Managers, Associate Directors and Director in their day-to-day tasks and client accounts. Your key daily responsibilities will be to support quantitative research studies from start to finish, including:
- Setting up and scripting questionnaires
- Managing and overseeing the fieldwork including weekly monitoring, data processing and sample quality control
- Supporting our participant helpline team
- Act as a key point of contact with suppliers and internal stakeholders (for example, our Data Processing and Data Science teams, Finance, fieldwork, online scripters, coders, etc.)
- Assist in checking tables and overall quality control
- Help prepare presentations for clients
- Assist in running survey data on behalf of clients – for example, tailored data-cuts and input to set up PowerPoint decks
- Analyse the data to help find useful marketing stories
What do I need to bring with me?
- An interest and curiosity about the media industry
- Passion for working with data with a technical appetite to explore relevant data software such as Excel and SPSS
- Intellectually curious, able to constructively challenge existing thinking
- Be self-motivated, confident and have strong initiative
