    We run two large-scale research programmes across over 80 countries to understand and map the behaviours of existing adult users of nicotine products. The insights generated are used to help support our client in making decisions that help consumers quit harmful products and trade them for reduced-risk alternatives. Our client has now helped over 15 million smokers worldwide make this switch, and the objective is to reach 40 million by 2025! Do you want to be part of this?     You’ll be a key member of our team, helping to support our business growth plan for our No. 1 client. With a focus on building and strengthening client relationships you will work in a team accountable for the delivery of accurate data that can be turned into commercial insight.

    What will I be doing?

    Working on the programme will immerse you in the project life cycle from end to end, set-up, to design, execution, delivery of accurate data onto a reporting portal through to ad hoc analysis. This means that you’ll work with a variety of internal partners & client stakeholders.

    This role will enable you to grow your

    Data focus

    • Learning the reporting portal, so you can support data checking, answer client queries and provide coaching support to other users.
    • Checking KPIs & periodical reports and ensuring that they are delivered on time.
    • Producing ad hoc data analysis using tools such as Excel, Survey Reporter, and SPSS.
    • Working with our advanced analytics team to produce sophisticated analysis designed to answer business questions

    Client focus

    • Actively engaging with our clients during to convert research objectives into questionnaires and actionable KPIs.
    • Developing knowledge of the industry and secondary data sources that can be integrated into your work.

    Partner focus

    • Exposure to the multiple different teams working across the world on the programme.
    • Effective project management, working efficiently to best practice standards, through time management & prioritisation

    Team focus

    • Sharing knowledge, learning and developing your skills to the benefit of both yourself individually but also the programme team as a whole.
    • Involvement in wider team initiatives, CSR & Curiosity days intended to continuously improve how we work and what we do.

    What do I need to bring with me?

    • A passion for data and a curiosity for what it means, using survey results to identify the who, what, when and why, to help our client take nicotine users along the journey to better alternatives.
    • An openness to learn and develop to the benefit of both yourself individually but also the programme team as a whole
    • A high level of numeracy (a related degree would be an asset ) and strong attention to detail
    • An interest in exploratory analysis and a willingness to work with big data sets
    • A hunger to unpick questions into their constituent parts, to diagnose opportunities and be able to influence decisions
    • The ability to work efficiently under pressure and to be accountable for managing your own workload
    • A curiosity for finding new ways to do things, using trouble-shooting skills to think on your feet
    • Strong interpersonal skills – the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively
    • A passion for playing with numbers (in Excel or other packages)!
    • Experience of using a mathematical or statistical software such as SPSS, SAS or R is a bonus, but not required
