    Our work for marketers shapes and underpins their product development and marketing decisions. We enable our clients (some of the biggest consumer goods manufacturers, as well as well-known tech and finance brands) to innovate and build their product portfolio by optimising their ideas, refining their products, exploring packaging function and design and providing recommendations to maximise sales.

    Our experts provide quantitative research using engaging new digital tools as well as advanced modelling and forecasting techniques. Our Quantitative team focus specifically on new product development research to inform clients’ product portfolio development.

    Your Role

    As a Graduate Research Executive joining the team you will:

    • Start with a tailored induction programme specifically introducing you to Product Development research. The interactive sessions will be delivered by the team’s experts
    • Training will cover all the core skills needed to be a successful researcher, providing you with a full understanding of your role in the project lifecycle, from designing a project to delivering the final presentation or workshop
    • Following this, you’ll be encouraged to take responsibility from the outset – working on live commercial projects
    • You’ll develop skills covering all aspects of new product development and consumer marketing
    • You will be part of a team designing and delivering research projects from inception to delivery
    • You’ll get the opportunity to work in different teams across a variety of clients and sectors experiencing all this exciting area has to offer.
    • You will have work with different members of the team who, together with a strong in-team support network (your Line Manager, Grad Rep and Buddy), will help guide your learning and development

    About You

    You will demonstrate:

    • A natural curiosity about the world we live in and an intrigue for human behaviour 
    • A passion for products and brands with an openness and motivation to get stuck in to understanding what people buy and how they use products across a wide range of categories (from laundry products to financial services, tobacco to tech)
    • A drive to not just deliver facts, but to question and interpret those into the “so what” and the “now what”
    • The ability to work creatively and think commercially
    • Thrive in a team environment working collaboratively with colleagues to delight clients
    • Strong attention to detail and a love of analysing and exploring data
    • Strong interpersonal skills – the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively working with many people and cultures
    • Great organisational skills and the ability to manage projects efficiently and effectively

    Our Offer

    Our Generation Ipsos programme provides a comprehensive foundation in research and how it’s practically applied in a commercial environment. You’ll be trained in client management, project management and the nitty-gritty of research including methodologies, sampling, weighting and ethics.
