Your role
As a Market Research Placement Student, you will be a key part of our team working on real-life client projects for some of the most well-known dynamic brands and companies.
You will gain exposure to a variety of client industries and research approaches, giving you some great experiences and a great jumping off point for your future career. You’ll get to work closely with data whilst seeing the end-to-end project life cycle including taking client briefs, working through timelines and costings, questionnaire development, quality control, and liaising with our fieldwork team. When your role starts, you will be assigned to a specialist team who are experts within their field.
Through support from your manager, the wider team, and our Academy training, over the course of your Placement Year, you will:
- Understand the true impact of our research and how it influences our client’s business, appreciating their organisational challenges and goals
- Develop your wider research knowledge and methodologies
- Develop your analytical skills and report writing, ensuring you tailor your insights and communication to the relevant audience
- Develop your data management and processing skills
- Work collaboratively with your team- we are well known for being a friendly and diverse group of people
- Advance your problem solving and time management skills
- Increase the level of responsibility you have working on projects, building your commercial skills and confidence
