To provide timely, effective and professional planning services for delivery teams and the Win Work and proposals teams. To provide support to the Head of Planning and Senior Planners and promote the use of good planning to internal and external customers and contribute to the effective running of the department. To provide programme input or feasibility studies to clients on a consultancy basis.
Key Accountabilities
- Integration into project teams.
- Liaise with planners, Win Work and proposals teams.
- Provide planning services to projects and proposals.
- Practice and promote best planning practice internally and externally.
- Support programme meetings whether internally or to Clients.
- Develop, with support, end to end programmes from appointment to commissioning and close out.
- Collate & validate, with support, project progress and report to Project Managers, Directors and Cluster Leaders.
- Contribute to the efficient way the department is run by feeding lessons learnt and innovation back into the department.
- Understand what makes each project tick and develop programmes around key milestones.
- Develop knowledge of Critical Path analysis within the fit out and engineering sector.
- Develop knowledge and ability to identify project risk and communicate this to relevant parties.
- Develop ability to contribute to problem solving and innovative thinking to both tender programmes and live projects.
- Ability to produce detailed programmes and options, with support, quickly as required.
- Develop relationships with internal teams, consultants, clients and suppliers.
Skills and Experience
- Some fit out and engineering knowledge in terms of architectural construction detail and the installation and commissioning sequences of M&E services
- Basic understanding of planning & rescheduling techniques.
- Basic understanding of the full project cycle and any relative constraints.
- Basic understanding of M&E infrastructure.
- Basic understanding of different forms of procurement.
- Basic understanding of software operations relevant to job role [Asta Powerproject, MS Project].
- Ability to manage and communicate workload.

Qualifications
- HNC/ BTEC Construction Management (desirable)
- Degree in Construction Management (desirable)
