What you’ll be doing
Our Graduate Engineers work across a range of disciplines including Civil (Bridges/Structural Engineering/River Engineering/Water Engineering), Mechanical (Water Treatment/Building Services), Electrical, Geotechnical, Process Engineering, Fire Engineering on a wide ranging and diverse portfolio of projects. Jacobs support clients in some of the most exciting engineering projects in the country and our graduate engineers work on these projects every day!
The Jacobs Graduate Development Programme is aimed towards giving our engineers the most agile and varied experience during their first years of their career.
What you’ll need
- Masters or Bachelors in an Engineering Discipline
- Excellent analytical and technical skills.
- Able to produce well-presented and accurate drawings and reports.
- Interest in new, digital ways of working, technologies and automation
- Committed to work and capable of managing own tasks, costs and meeting deadlines.
- Self-motivated and able to work as part of a team.
- Good IT skills
Ideally you’ll also have
- Proven communication skills; both verbally and written
- Demonstrated a previous interest in working in the Engineering Sector
- Full driving licence
