We’re reimagining the future of movement. Our vision of a sustainable future of modern luxury by design is at the heart of our next generation thinking and our new generation of talent. Pioneering apprentices, change-driving undergraduates and ground-breaking graduates all play their part.

Together with everyone who proudly works at Jaguar Land Rover, you can be the future of movement. Going from A-B is changing, for good. Can you take us there?

    Studio Modelling

Studio Modelling sits under the Creative Design Pillar and consists of 2 main disciplines: Clay Modelling (Physical) and Creative Aesthetic Surfacing (CAS) (Digital). Both work in harmony to deliver feasible model representations of the initial 2D Design vision. Both disciplines work closely with the Creative Designers to create physical scale and full-size models accompanied by a digital twin. Supporting the Design process through to Aesthetic confirmation gateway.

Join us in creating and defining a new generation of sustainable, modern and highly desirable products and experiences for a new generation of customers with evolving expectations. With ongoing training and development, we offer a range of programmes, roles and projects you can take on – from new concept development, to detailed design and experience delivery for our expanding range of vehicles and services.

Our graduate opportunities offer the perfect blend of personal and professional development. Network with other graduates, build relationships across the entire business, and watch your career grow. To make sure your programme is dynamic and engaging, we have a dedicated graduate development team, who will be working to design, update and develop a range of learning experiences for you.

Some of these will build up your creative and technical expertise enabling you to perform confidently in your business area and role. Others will prepare you for your career after the scheme ends. You’ll also take part in training to help you understand yourself, others, and gain insight into our business. From the start, we’ll provide you with support specifically tailored to your role.

    Creative Digital Design (CAS)

This is a well-structured programme that will help you to thrive and grow both personally and professionally. Providing you with the scope and support to help you realise your potential. The CAS team is an integral part of the design process. Creating high level detailed 3D digital datasets from 2D assets and engineering data which enables the design process to visualise future concepts and products. The digital data produced is used for senior reviews, engineering analysis, manufacture of physical assets and the basis for animations and high-end visuals. As we move into a more digital led future and develop the Design process further, the CAS team will remain pivotal to the successful delivery of our world class products. Therefore, the Design function must apply even greater levels of rigor with an emphasis on digital craftsmanship.

As a member of the CAS team, you will be exposed to both interior and exterior model creation. You will help to deliver digital assets for high level Design reviews as well as supporting the physical assets used to prove out the Design proposals. Creating digital datasets that can be used by the wider engineering teams and suppliers.

This exciting dual branded design role, as a highly creative graduate, within the Studio modelling team will be hands on from the very start of each program. From the creating the first concept digital themes through to more mature data that will circulate through the business and liaising with multiple disciplines within the Design department.
