    Jaguar Land Rover is a multi-site business and you’ll be required to spend time working with different departments at several locations.

    On successful completion of the undergraduate programme, you will be considered for a place on one of our graduate programmes. If you are to be offered a place on the graduate programme you will be informed shortly after completing your placement. You would join the graduate programme in the September of the year in which you graduate.

    Programme Management: Vehicle Programmes Engineering

    Our mission is to integrate the enterprise to deliver commercially successful products on time and to quality standards, which fulfil our brand and customer promise throughout their lifecycles. As such, we work with all areas across Jaguar Land Rover to realise our product programmes, so roles with us give great exposure to the business.

    Vehicle Programmes offers a truly cross-functional experience, with rotations through product strategy, programme management, business performance, cross-carline and commodity strategy, and programme purchasing. Along the way, you will gain a customer-centric view on satisfying evolving needs and accelerating delivery to reduce time-to-market, using agile principles to transform the way we think and work.

    You could find yourself driving programmes anywhere from initial concept to launch in plant, focusing on improving the profitability of a current carline, developing cost-effective and sustainable new features or helping to lead project management across carlines. This will give you all the skills you need for an exciting and fast-moving career with us.

    What’s required?

    You will need to be on track to achieve at least a 2.2 degree in a science, technology, engineering or maths (STEM) discipline, business or management.

    You will have a real passion for problem solving and the curiosity to understand business challenges and deliver innovative solutions. You will also have strong numerical and interpersonal skills and the confidence to champion new initiatives.

    Please note that our undergraduate placement opportunities are open only to penultimate-year students (those who will be returning to their final year of study after their placement with us). All our undergraduate programmes have a fixed start date, commencing 3 July 2023.

    We haven’t yet confirmed our 2023 undergraduate programme salary, but in 2022 this was £19,452.
