About the role
James Fisher and Sons plc is seeking a versatile and confident digital marketing executive to support with the creation of compelling marketing campaigns that resonate with our audience.
In this role you will develop strong marketing strategies with compelling multi-channel campaigns to drive forward the performance of the James Fisher brand, and its subsidiaries. You will regularly report on key successes, analyse performance, identify areas for improvement and generate new ideas and strategies. The role will require the individual to work closely with marketeers across the group, including digital and content marketing teams to support campaign strategy and development.

The individual will be based at a group company office and be able to travel nationally when required.
Principal accountabilities
- Design and deliver marketing campaigns that are data-driven and segment-focused
- Use results and insight to improve understanding of campaign success and constantly seek opportunity to drive ROI
- Devise B2B digital marketing campaigns with the aim of acquiring and retaining customers, delivering triggered and automated marketing campaigns through Microsoft Dynamics
- Deliver regular reports of campaign results, working in conjunction with the wider digital marketing team, including web analytics and evaluation against KPIs
- Collect and analyse previous campaign performance to inform new campaigns and the evaluation of existing campaigns
- Support the management of the e-marketing platform, including email templates, distribution list and reporting for campaign development and accounts based-marketing
- Promote best practice for website and email communications, across marketing and the wider organisation
- Support with the administration of James Fisher and subsidiary websites as required
- Supporting in monitoring the effectiveness of James Fisher website and digital marketing activities
- Staying current with industry best practice, strategies, trends and standards
- Liaison with group companies, clients, subcontractors and all stakeholders
What you need
- Educated to degree level or equivalent in marketing, business studies or a similar relevant discipline
- Hands on approach and self-motivated
- An interest in developing marketing skills
- PC literate in Microsoft Office suite
- Flexibility to travel to other national offices and sites on occasion
- B2B Marketing and/or business experience
- Proven campaign development and management experience
- Excellent coordination skills required to meet strict deadlines
- Proven analytical skills and digital marketing skills
- Excellent written and verbal English skills
- Experience of Microsoft Dynamics marketing solution highly preferred
- Google marketing tools (analytics, tag manager, data studio, search console etc) preferred
