The role

As a Finance Intern, you will provide support to JFD’s finance team in the implementation of internal control improvement actions, and other ad hoc finance duties. As a Finance Intern, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Assist in the implementation of process and internal control improvement actions.
  • Assist in the fixed asset verification activities to support the accuracy of the fixed asset register.
  • Assist in preparation of documentation for the annual external audit.
  • Other ad hoc duties as assigned by the finance manager.
  • Site visits to other JFD offices as and when required.

What we are looking for

We are seeking individuals who are not only technically proficient but also possess exceptional interpersonal skills and a passion for collaboration and innovation. Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Recent graduate or currently undertaking an accounting or finance-based degree.
  • Strong excel skills would be advantageous.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills including excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to work as part of a team and excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
