About the role
JFD is looking to recruit a Workshop Assistant / Mod Packer to work on a permanent basis from our office in Westhill, Aberdeenshire. As a workshop assistant you will undertake general duties of a semi-skilled and labouring nature associated with the company’s products and services. Your key responsibility will include the assembly of service spares kits in accordance with JFD packing instructions and industry standards.
As a Workshop Assistant, you will be responsible for the following:
- Packing of company’s products to JFD standards
- To organise and keep clean and tidy workshop areas allocated for individual tasks
- To work in a team providing support for the repair and service of Military and commercial products
What do you need?
In this role you will need basic computer and handling skills. You should be a motivated self started and have good attention to detail. You must also be organised and have good written and verbal communication skills. Training will be given for all JFD associated procedures.
