    Your opportunity

    This role will provide you with an excellent introduction to the Asset Management industry, specialising in Trade Support within our Investment Operations team. This opportunity should be viewed as the first step to a long and varied career.

    You will

    • Work closely with our Trade Support Team, you will assist in supporting our Dealing Desks and Portfolio Managers with their day-to-day queries
    • Co-ordinate across the business and with our Third-Party Administrator (BPSS) to ensure queries and issues are resolved in a timely fashion
    • Assist with the team’s day-to-day oversight of outsourced functions and/or performing processes where functions remain in-house
    • Learn how to operate effectively in a global team environment, working in partnership with our colleagues in Denver, Singapore and Australia
    • Support the team in providing effective oversight and governance of our TPAs through meaningful MI and effective use of SLAs and KPIs
    • Establish optimal solutions to problems and requests in order to best support the needs of our clients
    • Identify and address key risks, potential control weaknesses and inefficiencies of processes and systems

    Must have skills

    • Educated to degree level, preferably in a Math’s, Finance/Economics or Science based subject
    • Highly numerate with excellent problem solving and analytical skills
    • Ability to communicate technical findings in a clear and concise manner to senior colleagues
    • Confidence to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and working across departments
    • Inquisitive mind with a desire to improve processes, controls and services
    • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
    • A positive attitude, good work ethic, initiative and a desire to take on new tasks

    Nice to have skills

    • Ability to prioritise conflicting priorities and have excellent time management skills
    • Some exposure to intermediary or advanced Excel functions would be an advantage
