Your opportunity
Janus Henderson’s approach to ESG and Responsibility focuses on (1) our own corporate responsibility, (2) integrating financially material ESG considerations across most of our investment strategies, and (3) expanding our suite of ESG-focused strategies. The focus of the ESG Strategy and Operations team is to provide a hub of specialist support on ESG Strategy, Operations, Regulations, Oversight, Data Science, and Content and Learning.

The Responsibility Marketing and Communication role will support the Content and Learning team. Reporting into the Global Head of ESG Strategy and Operations, you will also work closely with the ESG Content Manager, the Head of Operations, the Global Head of Responsible Investment and Governance, the Global Head of Client Solutions and Strategic Initiatives, and the Chief Responsibility officer.
In your role, you will
- Work with Janus Henderson’s digital teams to design our external Responsibility website, including providing content and messaging, refreshing content as appropriate, and ensuring consistency across global websites
- Work with Janus Henderson’s digital teams to design our internal Responsibility web hub, including providing content, tools and refreshing content as appropriate
- Partner with Janus Henderson’s corporate communications group on developing internal communications on The Gateway, including newsletters and firm-wide updates. On Corporate documents, coordinate efforts from inception to go live, using workflow tools for approvals as appropriate
- Partner with various groups on developing our Responsibility brand and external communications. Activities include helping to create messaging and presentations, supporting the development of client events, and partnering to raise awareness with media events, interviews, and awards submissions
- Support internal and external educational / training initiatives on materials creation and logistics. Own and maintain Responsibility related training statistics for use in RFPs / DDQs and related client queries, working closely with the central training team
- Support the ESG content manager on tracking ESG data and developing client responses and ensuring consistent messaging
- Carry out other duties as assigned
