What does the Finance Graduate Scheme involve day-to-day?
Your first few weeks on this 24-month scheme will give you the chance to get to know the wider areas of the business, develop networks and relationships, then you’ll set out on a pathway to one of the most promising finance careers available to graduates. There may even be a possibility of an overseas placement!
You don’t become a business powerhouse like JCB without a team of talents professionals behind the scenes in Finance. This key department is pivotal to our success and as you rotate through three areas, we’ll give you business critical responsibilities and objectives. You’ll have the support of Finance professionals and other previous years’ graduates, this is a real chance to prove yourself as you study for your ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualification with our help, including financially.
You’ll also have the opportunity to be involved in community based and education STEM activities as part of the scheme and become a registered STEM Ambassador!
There are a range of typical career pathways that the Finance Graduate programme could lead to, such as:
- Accounts Assistant
- Management Accountant
- Assistant Financial Controller
- Financial Controller
About you
Passionate about Finance and with a keen interest in business, you’ll be an exceptionally talented Maths, Finance graduate or final year student on track for a 2:1 or higher.
With outstanding analytical ability, your natural drive will help you achieve major business goals collaboratively, but also under your own steam. This is a role for someone who can build the strongest working relationships and communicate with all manner of different colleagues at varying levels of the business. This is your opportunity to impact the way a global Company approaches financial decisions! The placements will be based within one of our sites in Staffordshire, so if you don’t live locally, you must also be willing to relocate to within a reasonable commuting distance.
