Over the course of the programme, you’ll complete two six-month placements in different areas of the Future Technologies function which will show you everything we do here. You’ll learn from a huge range of experts to develop an all-round understanding of the processes we use and the cutting-edge hydrogen and electrification technology behind our newest innovations.
The remaining six months you’ll split between a commercial placement—which could be anywhere in our business—before you spend the final three months in the position, you’ll take on full-time once you complete the programme. There may even be a possibility of an overseas placement!
Your training will be geared towards getting you up to speed with everything you need to thrive once you take the reins for real after 18 months. You’ll work on real-life projects and contribute to the general flow of ideas in our fast-paced, creative area of the business.
About you
You’ll need to have graduated within the last two years with a minimum 2:1 in a relevant Engineering or Technology degree—things like Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering or Manufacturing—and you’ll have a real passion for sustainable technologies. Just as important is having the kind of proactive, interested and naturally inquisitive nature that will make you an easy fit for Future Technologies and ensure that your progress is as swift as the pace of innovation here.
