Reporting to the Design Manager as part of the Marketing (Agency and Partners) team, you will be required to assist with projects from initial concept to completion.
As part of the team, your role is to support the business with design collateral aligned to the Marketing plan as well as provide design support across the company in areas such as Sales, Campaign Management, Creative Solutions, Business Growth and Development.
Assisting with ad-hoc requests, the Junior Designer will work across many departments and stakeholders of the JCDecaux business in a fast paced and varied environment.
As a Junior Designer, you will learn how to grow, build on experience and responsibilities in the company, taking direction from the senior designers.
What you'll be doing
- Working to established brand aesthetic and guidelines to create dynamic PowerPoint presentations for meetings and events.
- Assist with creating poster mock-ups and design assets for sales pitches.
- Working with Marketing and the Development team on product visualisations for tenders and planning submissions.
- Basic photography retouching and image editing.
- Creating impactful visuals for the Creative Solutions department to pitch.
- Attend and contribute to brainstorming meetings.
- Basic video editing of company showreels and vox-pops.
- Create engaging infographics and one-pagers for Marketing initiatives.
- Using motion graphics software on animation projects.
- Using InDesign software to create product factsheets.
- Able to make simple amends and alterations to InDesign documents.
- Reformatting client campaign artwork to match JCDecaux specifications and formats.
- Create end-to-end campaign artwork for business growth clients, in both print and digital formats.
- Supporting the wider team on conference events, webinars and launches by creating signage, invitations, and branding.
- Standard image file resizing, format conversion and video compressing to help the Marketing team.

- The ability to follow a design brief with a high level of guidance from a senior design colleague or member of staff.
- Ability to implement brand guidelines.
- Some level of liaising with external clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage your own time, ensuring working is completed within agreed time frames.
- Able to prioritise work with support from the Design Manager and senior staff.
- Ensuring all design work is efficiently archived.
- Up to date knowledge of industry design trends, software, and technologies.
- A working understanding of print production.
- Gain a working knowledge of JCDecaux products, Marketing initiatives as well as the company’s mission, vision, and values.

Experience
- Some level of previous experience in a commercial design role.
Qualifications
- Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline with a strong portfolio.
