Graduate Electrical Engineer Jerysey 2023

You will ensure asset and system reliability and stability, value for money, efficiencies and technical compliance. You will also maintain our high safety standards whilst upholding the Company’s purpose, vision and values.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist our Electrical Maintenance Team in maintaining assets across the network as agreed with our Senior Engineer and their Engineering team.
• Assist with research and work collaboratively with the team, and other relevant external and internal collaborators. Ensuring that there is a good understanding of the business needs now and in the future; and that research knowledge is applied where possible to improve standard process.
• Develop and maintain an appropriate professional relationship with relevant networks of support and personal development (CPD)
• Collaborative working on large projects for the company providing assistance where needed for the Project Engineers, and collaborating closely with our Senior Engineer ensuring that the projects meet the set specifications.
• Supervise and account for contractors, ensuring compliance to JE standards and alignment to contract using monitoring and reporting systems.
• Ensure appropriate compliance with HS&E, Company procedures, Safety Rules, and Industry best practice, ensuring that auditable records are kept.

• Aspiring to have leadership and Management skills
• Practical experience of utility principles and practices

Level of Experience

• Experienced technician in utilities role

Specific Qualifications and Training

• Graduate Electrical Engineer; or
• HNC in Electrical Engineering and working towards a BSC in Electrical Engineering.
• IOSH Managing Safely.

Other Desirable Qualities

• Industrial experience
• I.C.E experience
• Excellent IT skills with ideally; knowledge of Asset Maintenance Programs.
