Reporting to the Operations Solutions Delivery Lead, this role is responsible for gathering, documenting and interpreting the complex business requirements of the operational teams. This analysis is essential for ensuring the projects and initiatives delivered by the Operational Development team achieve these requirements in the most effective manner. This role will work with a broad and interesting range of operational disciplines, including Operations Control, Flight Planning, Crew Training & Rostering, Ground Operations, plus many more.
What will you do in the role?
As our Apprentice Operations Solutions Delivery Analyst, you will be involved in mapping business processes, identifying relationships and dependencies, and providing documented analysis in a format that permits the critique and consideration to make improvements.
It is then necessary to work with the System Specialists to assist translating the business process on paper into system logic that can deliver the process electronically, whilst automating common elements, and optimising the overall workflow. You will also:
- Ensure the business requirements of the operational teams are comprehensively understood and documented in order to identify improvement through system automation and optimisation.
- Translate business process into logical processes that can be configured into our systems.
- Provide clear, documented analysis, conclusions, and recommendations where appropriate.
- Maintain excellent relations with the ‘User’ community of the systems.
- Remain abreast of the systems development roadmap and new upcoming functions/capability.
- Review new system features and functions and consider both the positive and negative impacts to ensure management of change for successful adoption.
