    We are currently looking for a Graduate Analyst (Reliability Engineering) to join our Reliability Engineering team. The Graduate Analyst (Reliability Engineering) role is based within our busy Head Office (with hybrid working) at Leeds Bradford International Airport.  

    The Graduate Analyst (Reliability Engineering) will be required to collate and analyse various data; to gain deep insights into aircraft and component performance, giving the wider Reliability Engineering team the ability to act upon the insights shared.

    What will you do in the role?

    This role supports the Jet2.com Reliability Programmes and on-going Reliability Developments and Initiatives.

    This is vital for delivering our industry leading Technical Dispatch Reliability, contributing towards our overall Fleet Safety and On-Time Performance. You will be able to quickly assimilate analytical requirements and translate these into working analytical models and reports. You will also:

    • Perform exploratory and targeted data interrogation
    • Scrutinise and interpret an array of datasets
    • Use descriptive statistics to create clear data visualisations
    • Gather data from multiple sources
    • Monitor the performance of aircraft systems, components and health checks
    • Assist with reliability predictions and forecasting
    • Create reports to articulate findings to Reliability team and wider business

    What are the key skills/experience you’ll already have?

    We are looking for someone who is passionate about data and analytics who is keen to build a career within an aviation engineering environment. You will be: 

    • Enthusiastic and eager to learn new skills
    • An excellent communicator, able to engage effectively with all levels across the business
    • An effective team player, but also willing to work from your own initiative
    • Highly numerate, analytical and accurate with meticulous attention to detail
    • Passionate about working with data and solving problems
    • Have a high level of critical and creative thinking
    • Dedicated, self-motivated, enthusiastic, flexible, able to work at pace with a strong focus on delivery
    • Have strong organisational skills and be self-disciplined
    • Able to work in highly pressurised environment and be comfortable travelling abroad
    • Experience of data analytics technologies, such as Python, Tableau, Power BI, R, and SQL
    • Educated to degree level, ideally in a STEM related field, however other candidates with a strong analytical background in an unrelated field may be considered
