    We’re currently offering the opportunity for an undergraduate placement student to gain valuable experience and develop a number of key skills that will help you to pursue a career within Plant & Fleet Management, working with our Internal Plant Department at our Head Office in Skipton, North Yorkshire.

    Our busy plant team is responsible for supporting the Operation Teams, by hiring and servicing our large fleet of plant, vehicles, and tools. Working closely with operations to help us deliver projects on time safely and efficiently.
    As part of the plant team, you will:

    • Liaise with Site Managers and hire companies to transport plant, vehicles and machinery to and from various locations.
    • Form part of the plant hire and service desk, being reactive to the needs and requirements of our live sites across the UK.
    • Learn key negotiation skills and then implement them, engaging with various stakeholders to help us drive value.

    Who You Are

    • We are seeking applications from current 2nd year students who have opted to complete a year in industry.
    • You must be studying towards obtaining a full-time degree and be eligible to work in the UK.
    • We are willing to review applications from any individual studying a degree in business, supply chain and procurement or related courses.
    • The ability to work in a busy office - handling multiple tasks at once - working under pressure but in a light-hearted manner.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation and organisation skills.
    • Good IT skills - you must be IT literate.
    • Confidence, self-motivation and a strong work ethic.
