    Our Industrial Placement Programme within People Operations will make you see retail in a new light. Our unique Partnership difference and approach to business will enable you to get the most out of your placement year. Our placements combine hands-on experience with real projects. You will also receive relevant on the job training.

    The purpose of this 12 month student placement is to to support the People Service Centre and Resourcing Service Centre management teams to maximise the team’s expertise and knowledge to deliver the best service for all customers. During your time within People Operations, 6 months will be spent each in the People Service Centre and Resourcing Service Centre.

    Within the People Service centre, time will be spent providing an advisory and administrative service by telephone and email to People Managers, Hiring Managers, Partners (past and present), and 3rd parties on a wide range of Partner lifecycle and policy queries. Within the Resourcing Service Centre, you will experience working on an end to end recruitment campaign, working closely with our experienced Resourcing Consultants to hire talent into the Partnership.

    Responsibilities 

    • Provide excellent customer service to all People Managers, Hiring Managers, Partners (past and present), and 3rd parties, both personally and through coaching/supporting other team members, and always striving for first point assurance and resolution.
    • Ensure the appropriate Partnership policies and procedures are followed, as well as Employment Law regulations 
    • Continuously explore opportunities to streamline processes and deliver efficiencies and works with others to come up with creative solutions 
    • Openly demonstrates a flexible and positive approach to tasks and has the ability to support multiple requests efficiently, and to agreed timescales whilst building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

    About you

    To be eligible for this role, you must be studying an undergraduate degree at university. As part of your degree, you will be taking a year out in industry commencing July 2022.

    You will currently be studying a degree in Business Studies, or an equivalent discipline, that incorporates Human Resources modules and materials.
