John Sisk & Son are looking for talented graduates to join Excelerate, our three-year graduate development programme, designed to put you in good stead to work towards professional accreditation and chartership during and shortly after the completion of the programme. If you have recently graduated or are due to graduate with a good Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Services or Commercial / Quantity Surveying degree in summer 2021 and are passionate about building a career with a leading building contractor, then we may be just right for you!

A JOURNEY TO CHARTERSHIP


Excelerate is a comprehensive three year development programme that has been carefully designed to underpin the rigorous chartership requirements of the various professional institutes. The three years of the programme are structured to a very detailed level; you will be working to a plan and against a specific timeline to ensure that you meet the experience levels required to obtain chartership either during or shortly following the conclusion of the programme - dependent on the professional pathway you choose and your qualifications. The programme utilises a blend of learning methodologies which will deliver the depth and breadth of learning and practical experience. This is combined with robust programme management to track your progress together with structured personal feedback and a support process that will ensure your success.


WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • You will be a team player, have fresh ideas and be prepared to challenge us and yourself every step of the way.
  • You will have recently graduated or are soon to graduate with a good Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Services or Commercial / Quantity Surveying degree.
  • You will join Sisk on the Excelerate graduate programme in September 2021 and will complete a series of placements across the business (ranging between 3-12 months each), supplemented by high-quality professional training to ensure that you develop a broad range of skills and experience.
  • It is essential that you are geographically mobile across our domestic market (England, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales) and our international market (mainland Europe).
