    About us

Johnson Matthey (JM) is a global leader in sustainable technologies that will accelerate the transition to net zero. We're dedicated to creating the sustainable technologies of the future. Using our knowledge of chemistry and its applications, we research, develop and create innovative solutions to make the world cleaner and healthier. Our science and sustainable technologies have a global impact in areas such as low emission transport, pharmaceuticals, chemical processing, and the efficient use of the planet’s natural resources.

Efficient Natural Resources (ENR) is a sector at the core of JM, offering leading science and chemical process technology solutions that allow our customers to operate efficiently, profitably and sustainably. Our industry is on the cusp on transformative change, and we aim to accelerate this transition to net zero by being the trusted and respected leader in process technology and catalyst capability and enabling the circularity of critical materials.

Platinum Group Metal Services (PGMS), a business within our Efficient Natural Resources sector, is a leading refiner and recycler of precious group metals.
