    We’re looking for a Junior Retoucher to join our enthusiastic Graphic Design team.  You’ll report into our Senior Retoucher and work with us to deliver high quality image editing for our websites, catalogues and marketing channels.

    A day in the life

    • Processing and editing images in line with company guidelines, with support from our Senior Retoucher and Head of Graphic Design.
    • Liasing with our buying and design departments to match colours and interpret design changes.
    • Retouching a range of images from lifestyles to cutouts for various mediums, employing a range of techniques to achieve the desired outcomes - image comping, extending, skin retouching, extensive colour correction and more.
    • Preparing images for upload to the website via a CMS, as well as preparing images for print.
    • Helping to maintain an organised image library.
    • Ensuring that your output is visually consistent and always of a high standard.
    • Managing your own time effectively and meeting deadlines.

    What we look for in you

    • Some experience as a fashion/ecommerce retoucher is a bonus. Our role would also suit a highly motivated graduate. Don’t worry, we’ll provide in-house training on our techniques and processes.
    • You’ll be proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Bridge.
    • You’ll have a strong portfolio which showcases creative as well as technical work.
    • Understanding of RGB and CMYK colour profiles as well as colour correction techniques.
    • If you have an understanding of how to process raw files in Capture One and are proficient in working non-destructively in Photoshop, this would be amazing, although it’s not a dealbreaker.
    • We’d like you to have previous experience with ecommerce platforms like Magento, but this is not essential.
    • An understanding of scripts used in batch processing and formatting of images and experience using Wacom Tablets is a nice to have.
    • You’ll have great communication skills with the ability to liaise with multiple departments within the company.
    • You’ll take direction well and work amazingly as part of a team, but you’ll also be a dab hand at working independently.
    • You’ll have the knack to work quickly and always to a very high standard with a meticulous eye for detail and fantastic organisational skills.
